I always loved No.21 Collections by Alessandro Dell'Acqua, the master of Italian Femininity and delicacy. The archetypal Italian Fashion muse Anna Magnani was his muse and inspiration for this collection. He relocate her in the U.S. and reinvent her looks and styles; and created beautiful combination of Italian tailoring and American Sportswear.
MFW Fall Ready to wear 2017 - No.21
NYFW Fall Ready to wear 2017 - Alexander Wang
Alexander Wang's Fall 2017 Ready to wear was Almost All Black collection. He used ball studding, rhinestones and fringe as accents with black leather, denim, and suiting fabrications. Big metal snap buttons and Silver Chain with Rhinestones Bag straps added shines on through out the collection. Sheer Leopard prints was pop of the toned down looks.
'No after party' was a phrase for this season, like he used 'strict' & 'girls' stamped over t-shirts, sweaters and stockings in his previous 2016 Ready to wear collection. Ironically, his All black collection looks very 'party girl mode'.
Anyway, Alexander Wang's collection is always very New Yorker, despite his last season was all about Cali girls, surfers, Sunny colors and Palm trees and Sportswear inspired. This collection was very city girl inspired, sophisticated, well-tailored, has a spicy of New York Spirit - Black.
